i worked on quilts yesterday, it was wonderful. fabric-therapy, i recommend it to all. i need to go to the fabric store tonight, i need thread of various colors, and most probably i'll sneak in a few yards of fabric.

we are paingting the masterbedroom over the 4th of july weekend. so i have spent the last fews days re-reviewing paint swatches and plans and all sorts of things that make something thing fun, tedious. ahhh the joys of home improvement with N. we are going to paint the front door black this weekend. it is white right now and it is filthy! so is the step just under the front door, you would think that people stand there on my porch and kick at my house with house dirty that stupid step is. so black it is going to be and hopefully it will help. (probably all the dust will show up after we paint and that will irk me even more) i also am going to get a small can of almost-yellow and do some highlites in the family room. it is a little too "blue" at the moment and needs some brightening. hopefully that will turn out well, that is an unauthorized project.
